Placemat & Napkins

Our handwoven placemats and napkins make beautiful and functional additions to any dining table.

Our cotton is dyed by hand at our studio using use local plants = which can include gooseberry, catchu, yellow rice tree, turmeric, lapis lazuli, almond.   We then add weaves using contrasting cotton colours, silk, lotus or banana fibres; we also use a technique called supplementary weft. 

Each piece may have slight variations depending on the dye colour-strength and the techniques of individual weaver – this adds to its charm!

• May be washed by hand or machine and ironed whilst damp
