Point of Origin - Pochisilk is based in Yangon, Myanmar and our products’ origin is of course Myanmar; but currently it’s extremely hard to export products or ship individually from the country. So we first ship to Hong Kong, where are products are stored – and then they sent on to you from Hong Kong through HongKong Post.
Where do you ship to? - If you don’t see your country on the list, then please contact us; we should be able to ship to most countries – it might just be that we didn’t have an advance shipping rate loaded into our shop to calculate.
Tracking – You should receive a tracking reference for your package – if you don’t, then please email us on email@example.com and we will follow up for you.
Shipping Time – this varies of course; but for the most part we aim to have your package to arrive within one week of your order. We’d love for it to arrive faster, but given the logistic difficulties in Myanmar, this is not always possible.
Materials - Our products are all handwoven by our weavers, either in 100% silk or a mix of silk and cotton. The silk is either from Chin state in Myanmar (where we support mulberry farmers) or from Thailand.
Product Care – All silk items may be hand washed in cool or tepid water. We do not recommend machine washing or any rough handling – they should be washed gently in a mild detergent liquid. We recommend ironing the item whilst still slightly damp.
Packaging – our items are normally in a poly bag – this is to protect them from damp and dust. Most items are also packaged in a paper envelope. If you order a gift, we’re more than happy to package specially for you and to include a gift card! Just drop a note to us in advance.
Storage in your home – don’t leave your silk items exposed to bright sunlight or you may find the silk will discolour slightly!
Out of Stock – if items are marked as out of stock, it might be that they are just out of stock in our Hong Kong warehouse – drop us a note and we’ll check if we have stock in Yangon that we can get to out you!
Gift-cards – yes, we can arrange a gift card for your recipient – drop us an email and we’d be happy to help!
Special Orders - we are happy to do custom orders – either for an event; for your company – or for specific retail chains. Such an order requires forward-planning but always happy to oblige – do email us at firstname.lastname@example.org
